hi, i made a oatmeal stout and it has been sitting in primary for 3 weeks. i make 1 gallons batches so i usually skip the secondary. but since the sediment floating in this one never settle, i moved it to a secondary and it is now cold crashing in the fridge. even though transferring to secondary reduced the amount of yeast float there is still some even after 2 days cold crashing. the beer taste ok and smell ok as well.
what you guys think would be the best to try ; isinglass or gelatin as i am not 100% sure it is yeast or protein.
3 photos are attached, the first one is the secondary carboy in the fridge and the 2 last one is what was left in the primary that i have poured in a jar since i tried not to suck the floating layer while transferring to secondary.
yeast used is safale s-04
