Hello Forum
So, we've got lots of white waxy, tasteless clumps floating on top an in suspension of a cider. I noticed it after kegging (from a secondary carboy)with lots of deposit inside the keg on the walls, too. There are no off tastes or odors. I racked back to a 5# carboy with a hop sock filter over the siphon with good results in "filtering" it out. What do you t think it is? Could it be pectin from the apple peels?

Thanks cider forum
Steve

Hope these loaded correctly.

Let me know what you think.

I notice that you mention there were deposits in the keg that you transferred to.
Those deposits may have been dislodged and are now floating.

I didn't notice them in the carboys prior to transferring to the keg, which you think you'd see. They could have been in the keg but it was broken down, cleaned and sanitized prior to using so that seems doubtful, too. I'm stumped. I don't think the "white stuff" is undissolved one step cleaner as it feels waxy.
