I just received a new Robobrew with pump and am reading up on it prior to doing my first brew. One piece of information that I can't seem to find is regarding doing a whirlpool at the end of boil using the pump. How do you rig it up to whirlpool? Do you need to connect a piece of pipe to the recirculation arm with a hose so you can direct the flow into a whirlpool?

I’d also be interested in hearing any ideas on whirlpooling. Could a guy even add a whirlpool port and use the pump to get the whirlpool going? I’d only think of using a clamp with the hose right now to try to do a whirlpool but it hasn’t worked to well.

Put the lid on and use the opening in the middle to run your hose through and up against the side of the kettle. Move the pump arm away from the center of the kettle and point it more towards the outside of the kettle. This will give you a better angle to run the hose on an angle up against the inside of the kettle. Turn the pump on and adjust the hose angle to achieve your whirlpool. Hope this helps [emoji481]
