Looking at the Dwyer website quite a few LOVE Temperature switches are available. Which of these would work for controlling a fermentation chamber (fridge):
TS: $65 (Basic Model?)
TSS2: $69 (Dual Stage?)
TSX: $55 (Cooling only?)
TS2: $50 (Multi Unit program?)

Seams like the TS2 switch has most features needed (heat/cooling, hysteresis & Password) for homebrewing at the best price...Is there a catch?

Thanks!

They all do slightly different things.

IMHO, the TSS2 is the choice if you want to control heating AND cooling in the same space.

The TS2 is the choice for heating OR cooling in the same space.

OK I actually found the info in another thread.

Also: What is the difference between e.g. Love TS and Ranco controlers?

Thanks

Love is a panel mount with programming that you has more flexibility but is slightly more complex.

The Ranco is very simple but less flexible and has an external body. It can be panel mounted but takes a little more work.

I use a TSS2 in my side-by-side fermentation chamber. You can see what installation entails in my thread linked in my sig.

I use a Ranco to control my Keezer. Both work great.
