My wife is buying me a CFC for x-mas and want's to know which 1. I like the Chillzilla from Sabco or Northern Brewer, and the Chillus Convolutus 1 from Beer Beer & More Beer. Which 1 would you get or have and why? Cheers and here's to AG.:mug:

Shirron. Almost the same price as the others, and smaller and easier to clean IMHO.

Hey Dude, how easy is it to use that Shirron plate chiller? What does your setup look like when you have all the lines hooked up? This is much better than the chillzilla? Cheers thanks for any info or pics.

I have some pics of it in my gallery I believe. I'll get some next time I brew if not.

It is easier to clean than the CFCs becaue you don't have to keep tilting that thing around and around to get all the water out. Shirron you just hold sideways and let it drain.

I think it is MUCH easier than my CFC, especially when brewing. I even put quick disconnects right on it for the water hoses and the wort input/output.

EDIT: I just checked my gallery--no pics of the shirron. On page 2 though, you can see a pic with the CFC. I mounted the shirron on the stand right below that tier with the shelf. I'll get pics for you on what it looks like all set up.

Thanks Dude! I don't know if you read my other post on my new brewstand, but I cut my height down by a foot. 2,4,6 respectively.
