Hi all. I am having no luck on the web finding a source for either champagne or sparlkling wine bottles with a screw top. It is not really for brewing per se, but I need to be able to open and re-seal the bottle, and I will be applying a small amount of heat to it, hence the need to resist against increased pressures.

I know such products are available commercially but can't find any in my rural area, so will need to purchase empties.

Thanks all for any help.:mug:

I've never heard of champagne wine bottles with a screw top. I hope you find what you're looking for!

I found these bottles of prosecco at my local Italian grocer...

They have the shape of a wine or champagne bottle with a resealable flip-top lid. I know you said screw-top, but I think they might be few and far between. I'm buying up as many as I can afford.

Buy a bottle of sparkling grape juice. Most all of them come in a screw top bottle.
