Ventmatic is the company that makes really nice beer faucets made of stainless and that utilize the valve forward design.

I spend as much time on the green board as I do here (don't post very much though, too many egos and jerks), I've lurked over at HBD longer than any of the others.

I don't spend much time (or post) at the B3 or NB forums, but I stop in and grace with my presence every once in a while.

I'm like a brewing knowledge sponge. I soak up everything I can.

Didn't I read somewhere that the Vent Matic design faucets were going to be made in China, when they resume manufacture? Or am I thinking of Perlicks?

That's some interesting news there, Dude. Good to hear they may start selling them again. I've been waiting for them to go back into production to finish my kegerator project.

I hate to be the rain on the parade, but I won't hold my breath. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have waited this long if I didn't think the Vents were worth it. I was just reading the posts at this link and saw that one mentioned having spoken with Brad (the owner) recently.

I talked with him myself on the phone a few times and then via email over the last few months. He effectively promised to send me four Ultra flows and flo-gates as a package deal. Told me that he'd managed to round up something like 25 sets from a dealer and they were all that was left of the last design. He also mentioned that the production on the new faucets would begin in around 30 days. That was in mid-December. In mid-January I sent him another email asking when I could expect the faucets/flo-gates he was going to send. A couple days later I got a a return email saying he was in another country trying to nail down a deal with a new manufacturer and that he would get the stuff out to me as soon as he returned on January 24th. Still ain't seen 'em. I finally sent him another email saying that I would cancel the order ('cause I didn't want to wait for the mystery hit on my bank account any longer) and wait for him to send me an email when he was back in production. Considering I heard the "30 days" from him two months ago, I don't know if I'd consider that anything solid.

I hope with the rest of you that he gets it rolling again so I can give the faucets I borrowed back and get the ones I really want. By the way, if anyone can find the thread on Tastybrew that was mentioned, please post a link. I couldn't find it.
