Where and while doing what?

I mean preferably other than bars or taverns.
Recently for me, the kitchen.

A couple weeks ago I spent a 5 hours at a friends house drinking a few pints in his kitchen while he, his wife and I made a ton of spinach pie (using phylo) for a party. One of those big "entertaining" kitchens ... very entertaining.

Last Saturday I made gnocchi with the Other Half ... I did most of the beer drinking ... she had a little ginger wine.

Today I had a few Spaten Optimator Dopplebocks whilst making stuffed grape leaves, fresh from my grapevines in the backyard.

There's just something right about good beer and kitchens and food. I'm sure there's some kinda Feng Shui goin on there.

Driveway.

Been doing more and more grilling here in Wisco so I've been drinking in the driveway while tending the grill. Nut Browns and stouts. Mostly because I love stout - year round.

Grilling - me too. I roll my grill right next to my keezer (back patio) and turn the ballgame on. That's living. Burgers over coal this afternoon, Rays clobbered the Indians, and my Pilsner was keeping thinks chilled.

On my back deck, especially if it's a beatiful warm CO evening, maybe even with a cigar...following a grilled steak dinner.

I travel for a living, so I go to tons of breweries, brewpubs, still enjoy them.
