I'm looking to get a pump sprayer for starsan and also maybe one for beer line cleaning. I bought one at home depot and it smelled like machining oil. Cleaned it with pbw and still smelled. Didn't trust it for starsan application.

Where is everyone getting small half gallon pump sprayers? Or is there a trick to cleaning?

I use a Flo-Master, probably originally from Home Depot. I have it for probably over 10 years, but I don't recall any issues with oily aromas.

Mine came from Lowes but it fell and broke so I replaced it with a pond pump. Infinitely better.

Starsan I keep in a regular spray bottle.

I mostly use fountain/pond pumps now for recirculating cleaner through my lines, but I still have a pump sprayer that I use to flush picnic taps. I always got my 1-gallon pump sprayers from Walmart for $6 each, never had one that smelled like chemicals.
