When to add cold side finings in unitank?

I'm currently fermenting my first batch in a unitank. I plan to add gelatin finings to the fermenter itself using the PET bottle with a jumper into a gas post I have installed in the dry hop port, same method I've used in the past but with kegs. My question is, when is the best time to do this, before, during, or after carbonating (if it even matters)? In other words, I'm going to carbonate using the carb stone after cold crashing - will adding the finings while I carbonate cause too much turbulence for the gelatin to work?

I would fine after carbonating so to not kick back up what settled out.
