I've brewed a simple hefeweizen a couple of times and now swmbo has requested I add fruit. Personally I prefer my fruit in a bowl but I thought I'd brew up a batch and then take a couple of 1 gallon carboys from it. Question is does anyone have any suggestions of what works well with wheat? I'm thinking blueberry but that's the limit of my imagination. Also what's the best way to add fruit? Fresh? Tin? Extract? Any advice would be welcome.

I have a hefe brewed with blood oranges conditioning right now. Tasted it before bottling. Wasn't too bad. That style isnt really my cup of tea but I'm throwing a party and want something that everyone can drink.

I went to a craft beer festival and one brewers made a wheat mango. It's the only wheat beer I've liked. The mango smoothed out the wheat. But, I wouldn't want 10 gallons of it.
