Wheat substituting

I am brewing a cream ale today. It calls for flaked wheat. I do not have any on had and the lhbs doesn't carry. Can I use wheat extract as a substitute for the flaked wheat?

Do they have raw wheat? What's the recipe? I dont think extract is what you want as it's usually a blend. Malted wheat would probably work fine in a cream ale.

1 pound of flaked maize
.8 of flaked wheat
