Mine is American Brown Ale. I have a house recipe I keep on tap at all times.

I have had great results with cream of three crops which I have done a half dozen times. Next is a California common followed by a pale ale I've done 4-5 x's each. They come out great.

probably easier to list ones i don't like:

1. Anything wheat
2. Anything with heavy coffee notes. Chocolate is ok though.
3. Anything smokey
4. Fruity ales

I'm with you on the wheat. Also Belgian brews aren't my favorite. I think in all cases its the yeast

Some of the best beers I've ever had were Belgians. But some of the worst I had were beers that had Belgian character that weren't supposed to!

Thats a pretty good point. Maybe I just didn't like my buddy's belgians. Kept racking over the yeast cake. probably just didn't like his strain

Spring-pale ale
Summer-IPA
Fall/winter-stout

Just starting to get into an explore Browns
Have yet to find any recipe which i have made more than twice!
Still looking!
