Hey, Heferly & Scook - I agree - the site looks pretty awesome!

I'm definitely hitting up Half Acre next Friday for a growler of The Chairman. So far, everything I've had from them is pretty damn amazing. In fact, I asked the brewmaster if I could get some of their yeast, but apparently their schedules don't really allow for it. But he did tell me they use California Ale Yeast for all their brews...nice info! Too bad Brew & Grow doesn't carry it right now...I've been led to believe American Ale yeast will do in its place, though.

Yep, 1056 is basically cali ale.

Niilo, i'm at clark and diversey, should try and find some time for a brew.

I'm going to the first session, 1-4:30. My brew club entered in the homebrew challenge and they are announcing the winners then. I know some of the breweries are bringing some crazy stuff. Half Acre is bringing a collaboration with Pipe Works and rumor has it Sam Adams is bringing some Utopias!!!

I'm surprised they didn't give you some yeast. I know a bunch gets dumped after every batch.
