Whats the deal with "dog" and brewing names?

I used to use Crazy Squirrel Brewing.

One of my favorite names (but the beer is meh) is Moosehead.

I've been inspired.

Considering using the word "Dog" in all future posts.

Don't really care what other people call their breweries, and I have no name for mine, but I am put off by some names. For example, "Dirty Water Brewing" (somebody on this board calls their brewery that). Not appetizing. Crude names are also dumb, IMO, like Big Hairy Ass Stout, Cock and Balls Ale, etc...um, thanks, but no thanks.\

There does seem to be quite a few canine related brewing names now that you mention it...

Because Llama Hoof Brewing just has no ring to it.

I had to wake this thread from the dead just to point out Llamas do not have hoofs. They have two nail growing toes on each foot. The pad on the toes is connected toward the back of the foot, and more "leathery" than a dog paw pad.
