I am going to be making my mlt soon and am wondering what way to go as far as a manifond. What do you use. I am trying to decide between a copper slotted manifold or can I use cpcv. or is it better to go with a s.s. braid or a bazooka screen. I don't know what way to go. what are some of the advantages to each system. Also what Diameter to use 1/2 or 3/4 for a manifold. also what do you use to conect the manifold to the bulkhead for easy removal?

Question one is whether you are planning to batch sparge or fly sparge.

For batch sparging, the SS braid's probably the cheapest and easiest solution, and it works great. It's not viable for fly sparging though, as it promotes channelling and poor efficiency (not an issue with batch sparging, since with BS you're basically just draining the tun).
