Since I am in a country with no real homebrewing culture yet, I am struggling to find ingredients.

Through a local brewer I can get 2-row pale malt and 100L crystal malt (so I am brewing all grain) , and now I am wondering what styles of beer I could make with only these two ingredients. Anybody a suggestion for me? As for hops I have acces to saaz, and also have limited amounts of northern brewer and cascade (4 oz each)

My first two batches were with all pale and came out as good generic bitters, with which I was very happy of course. But now I want to do something with the crystal, but I can't really find any recipes/styles with just these two kinds of malt, so any recipe suggestions would be welcome!

I am going to make a barleywine this weekend that will have both 40L & 120L crystal. If a barleywine is too much to brew now, 100L-120L works great for a nice scotch ale as well.

if you're willing to spend the time, you actually have an array of other malts you can 'create' by toasting the pale malt: http://www.howtobrew.com/section4/chapter20-4.html

pale ale, esb, amber, IPA, mild, and barleywine (among others) could all be made from these ingredients. what type of yeast can you get your hands on?
