I just can't see the two going together. The coffee would make the champagne taste too sweet and the champaign make the coffee taste bitter. Have the coffee in the morning and the champagne after dark.

I hate coffee. Yuck. Drink the champagne, then if you feel you must have more liquid refreshments, have a homebrew.

I'm with beerrific, I hate champagne, so would be an easy decision for me.

I've only had cheap champagne though, maybe it tastes ok with a bigger price tag?

Drink the coffee first. It's a morning drink. After you declare morning over, commence with the champagne.

Fingers got it right.
It wasn't one or the other. I had a glass of champagne poured and SWMBO brought me a coffee.
I went for the coffee first then the champagne.

I poured the champagne to go with last nights chinese take away leftovers.

:)

It worked well.:mug:
