Got a (split batch) of tasty 2.5 gals of Scottish in primary now for 2+ weeks and ready to keg.(or Bottle)
I'd like to take 1 gallon and change it (spice it) up a bit. :mug:
Any suggestion on what to add...???

fruit, dry hops, honey, coffee... ? Just to change 1 gallons taste, just for the sake of doing something crazy for science.
Wont really care too much if it is turns out too wacky !!
Just want to taste a gallon of a different Scottish (if possible)

and for you experts...what would you definitely NOT add.

Cheers.

DON'T add liquid smoke!

If you're bottling conditioning, you could try adding dark candi syrup instead of corn sugar to carbonate. I've made these and have been playing with adding them to the beer at various points in the process.

Ended up adding Dry hopping with 1oz cascade for about a ~week and was told out of the bottle it tasted quite like a Wee Scotty.. !
Made my day !!! :mug:
