This is my 3rd cider. First two came out great. With this batch, i Added Super-Kleer KC Finings. Two days later, this monster was lurking. It's now been 1 week. It must be alive because it floats then sinks then repeats. Has anyone experienced amoebas like this before?

BTW, the cider smells and tastes great. sitting at ABV 8.2%

It is "The Blob"! And it is coming to get you as soon as it is big enough :D

All kidding aside it is rising up and down as CO2 builds up and is released from it. I can actually see some bubbles trapped in it as I look at the picture. Are you using the same recipe and ingredients as before other than the KC finings? What Is That Made of? Almost looks like some kind of gelatin mixed with some apple pulp and yeast.
I suggest taking a sample and tasting it just be careful when you are trying to get a sample that it doesn't send out tentacles to try to infect you..... if it tastes great go with it!

Thank you sfgoat and ubnserved for the feedback. I was hoping it was a monster yeast raft. Just haven't seen one that large.

Yes, this is the exact same recipe: 4gal apple juice, 96oz apple juice concentrate, 3tsp pectic enzyme, 3 tsp yeast nutrient, 2tsp yeast energizer, nottingham yeast. The only difference is the Super Kleer KC finings which was added after 3 weeks in primary.
It does smell and taste great, and the blob tentacles didn't get me...lol.
