I have been trying to figure out what temperature to set my Kegerator at. Currently it's at 45, thinking that it will only take a few minutes for the served beer to reach cellar temperatures but I don't seem to be getting very many co2 bubbles in solution when I pour a beer. I'm thinking about dropping the temp to 38. What temperature do you serve at?

yeah, keep your fridge temps in the mid 30's for Co2 uptake and let them rise to 38* in the glass. You will have a better presentation in the glass....

Cheers

Are you raising the CO2 pressure due to the higher temperature?

I typically have mine set at 45, and do not have any issues with carbonation.

My head is fantastic at 45 and 12 psi I just done get those beautiful streams of co2 bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass.

I've been playing with my temps as well and have achieved best results setting the controller @ 37-40. Have most @ 12psi and have a hefe @ 24psi. Going from 45 to the 37-40 dropped my pressure ~3psi keeping the same vol of co2.
