What size copper for manifold

Just got a new 10 gallon coller for a new mash tun. What size copper piping would work the best. I was thinking 1/2 in copper pipe.

I use 3/8 and drilled a million holes in one side. That side faces down and it will siphon the tun just about dry. If using bigger pipe means fewer tubes or holes that are up higher, there's no advantage. If 1/2 is what fits for your tun, go for it, but don't think that sparging will go any faster... cause it wont

I did 1/2" , the fittings and adapters are much more easily found for 1/2" tubing than 3/8".

I used 1/2", but I think it was what was at the local Ace like JRems said. It works just fine for me.
