What price to ask for used flip top bottles?

My dad has several cases (24 each) of Christoffel Robertus 330 ml (about 11.2 oz) flip top bottles. About five cases with the old beer still in, and three which have been emptied and labels removed. I think at one time he planned to use them to bottle his maple syrup, but then he retired from tapping and making syrup, so they've sat in the basement for several years. I don't brew beer, but was wondering if there's a market for these bottles, and what would you folks consider a reasonable price to charge? Trying to help the folks clean out the basement. Thanks for the input. BTW I'm in the Twin Cities area of MN.

More importantly, how's the beer inside the full ones?

They are very cute! Someone will want them.
Say $10-15 a case? If the case itself is plastic it may be worth something extra, with the bottles.

Not necessarily!
The label doesn't list the style, but worth a single bottle sacrifice to report to this community! 15 year ales are hard to come by. I've had a 20 year-old ale that was shared in our "club," and although there were hints of oxidation, it wasn't bad at all, and a very unique experience.

And they're import, that adds to their value!

You'll have to chill a bottle to about 42°F and give it a taste. The beer wasn't stored in a basement. The beer was cellared.

Munich Dunkel Lager according to untappd.

Christoffel Robertus is a low-fermenting ruby-red beer, brewed in the Münchener-style. It is a malty, fresh beer with a light sweetness. The typical hop bitterness found in Blond, is very lightly present in Robertus. The use of an extensive amount of selected barley gives Robertus the special malty taste and aroma

That said, $1-2 per bottle to a homebrewer, more to a collector. 330ML lowers the price for the homebrewer. You'd probably have to sell them individually to get the collector.

To answer the question, I would never pay anything for bottles. But those are pretty sweet fliptops, so you'd probably get 10 bucks per case if you can find a local buyer. Post in our For Sale area.

I'd give them away at that price and 1UP my karma. Your call.
