Myself...

I'm arranging some Christmas music for this Sunday evening...

And I'm performing it. :D

Do You Hear What I Hear?

Solo handbells with piano accompaniment. I'll be recording the piano track in a second.

right now I'm listening to my old friend's sisters debute album... I didn't know about her being a singer/songwriter but she's been playing on the radio for some time and it's some seriously grabbing songs she's recorded. Since its "swedish chef" lingo it will probably be hard to appriciate for you foregin chaps ;-) :

Dave Matthews, Tim Reynolds, Trey Anastasio, and others covering "Cripple Creek" at Madison Square Garden, 12/17/03.

Just changed mid-post to The Banner's "The Wolf." Musical whiplash!

Guthrie Govan's Erotic Cakes. It's shred but it has a certain something that makes it much more listenable than most shred...to me anyway. I don't really listen to shred much anymore but this guy is a little different.

Elvis Costello - Blood and Chocolate. Will switch to some Stooges after the coffee kicks in. RIP Ron Asheton

Roses N Roses (Guns N Roses) - Chinese Democracy. Picked it up on a whim. Not a bad listen but a far cry from the sound of classic GNR, which was to be expected.

The more music changes the more it remains the same

Currently listening to Tom Waits - Raindogs

I didnt realize a voice could sound like gravel, whiskey, and cigarette smoke in a blender...Its so.....soothing....

lately I can't get enough of the Slackers or Desmond Dekker. it's just such feel good music. you cannot sit still listening to it. also just got off a toots and the maytals kick.

you just can't beat good classic real Ska.

You sir, are my new hero :rockin:

I caught III in concert last month in Missoula, kickass!

I love Hank III I saw him a couple of years ago in Lansing. His Versatility is awesome, They played a cover of Walk from Pantera and Hank Sang and played drums for it. I think Angel of sin is probably my favorite song, I just love how he can go from sounding like his grandpa to screaming his ass off.

I just got NOFX's new album coaster - I've never been disappointed with these guys. I couldn't wait for the CD to actually come out but I will go and buy it just to show my support for them.

it's pretty much awesome and there isn't really a bad song on the whole album.
so far my favorite song is "Best god in show". just look up the lyrics and it'll make you laugh.
