Hey all,

The box I have:

didn't come with a panel inside to mount stuff on. It has raised posts for one though.

What's a proper material to use for this? Plexiglass, wood?

I mounted everything to the box itself. The PID comes with a slip lock, like a zip tie sorta.Nothing needed.Same with buttons.Heatsink gets srewed in from the outside so you cant see the nuts. Really all you need to do is mount the bus bar(I think that's what its called) inside the box.Pretty simple really

Its never bad to err on the side of safety. If it were me and already bought the box Id use it.But that's me. Odds are slim to non you will ever have an issue and it will only be plugged in on brew day when you standing next to it...Back to the topic,I don't even know what that insert piece is for. Drill your circles and holes through the box and mount everything...Really no need to overthink it..Double and triple check your wiring.Thats where you need to put your brainpower.I worried and asked questions for a month. If I had to do it again I would be start to finish in less than a half day.
