My morning job I cook, clean, do laundry and am a father of 2 (3rd on the way).
At night I'm a elementary school janitor.
On the weekends I'm a husband.
 
Mechanical Engineer if you look at my degree. Validation Engineer if you looked at the engineering job market when I graduated (and what I do) :( . It's way easier than brewing, and not nearly as rewarding (pay is better though)
 
I just accepted a brand new job as a soon to be college graduate today.

I am going to be a Fermentation Specialist working for cargill. We are making lactic acid with a new strain of low pH tolerant yeast. The fermentation vessels are 200,000gallons each at three stories tall, and there is four of them!

Can't wait to start this job.
 
I'm a EMT/Public Safety Officer and a Substitute Teacher for K to 6 Special Education. I'm still working on my Teacher Credential in CA. However, arn't we all Brewers here:rockin:

Professional colege student! I'm a junior-status undergraduate, but I still have 1 more year of undergrad and at least 4 more years ahead of me for grad school (I'll be pursuing my PhD in Mathematics, probably focusing on some branch of abstract algebra or perhaps logic), so I will probaly have this "job" for quite some time! However I eventually plan on becoming a professor of mathematics, because I love to teach people math but despise dealing with people who are younger than 18 for prolonged periods (so elementary/MS/HS teacher is an out of the question job for me).

I wouldn't think so. We are not going to let any other country go to the moon, when they just found out that there is billions of lbs. of water in the craters that never see the sun.

I'm a flight engineer on the E-3 in the Air Force. Been at it for over 12 years now.

I own a pipe organ service company. tuning, service, restoration. Basically i am in the old filthy closet no one knows about in your church fixing technology that hasn't really evolved since the turn of the century, manufactured by companies that are long since out of business.
when i put it that way, i need a new job. :tank:

oh, and i have heard all the "how's your organ" jokes there possibly can be. and there are a lot.

I have done a few ssl (sso) jobs. Not a big fan of their stuff. What is strange is I used to mix live sound, so I knew of the legendary ssl studio gear, so when I started working with organs, I naturally thought they were the best. However a few jobs were enough to swear off their pipe organ system. I got to know Duncan and another Brit (that I can't remember his name) pretty well over the phone trying to troubleshoot their systems. On the face they look like a great system, but they have some serious flaws that they haven't worked out.

Cool. My wife is our church organist. She has to have some dude come from England to service that organ.

Yeah, that sounds dirty. :D

Well she doesn't have to, we are much closer... :)
And the dirtiest I have ever felt was working on the Radio City Music Hall organ when I had to get into the organ chamber off of the chorus boy's dressing room. Boy did they have a lot to say about our organ. :ban:

I played an organ with SSL for a few years, and was MUCH more satisfied with the Peterson system in the instrument I played for seven years! And I know all about the dirty little corners/closets in churches!

One more hijack....
the new ICS4000 system from peterson has it all over sso. I have put in around 10 ics systems and they are great to work with/ and great from the organist standpoint. I did the organ at ocean grove NJ with ICS, and if it can work there, it will work anywhere.
 
Government Analyst/Contractor for IBM...trying to find a more entertaining/fun job in either beer sales or event management though :)
