What is wrong with this beer?

I bought a sixer of Mcgoverns oatmeal stout tonight,tried to pour it in to a glass and it just foamed like crazy.After about ten minutes i got most of it in the glass.While letting the foam settle i took a sip from the bottle and my mouth was filled with foam,and it tasted gross.Kinda sour.Is this beer infected possibly?
