I just got two cases (24 each) of bottles delivered for $38: one of the few good homebrew deals on Amazon.

Recycling here is pretty low level: all recyclables go into one big bin.
I mean people just throw them away or recycling. There's usually no interested in bottles. You just have to get lucky and have someone in your area post. You can also post that you're interested in obtaining some

I've seen some good Belgium, wine and champagne bottles in my area. They all went to the trash/recycling
 
Here you go. This was the main thread for donating or looking for bottles. I think the best luck to have is posting a iso looking for bottles in your area. I bet you'll get some hits in the future if you're looking for other bottles. There's a lot of generous people in the classified thread. You might even see some free corny kegs.
