Apparently it blasted up from the ocean.
I don't think it is a Toyota Camry with a stuck gas pedal....
:drunk:

A spaceship from the future that crashed so hard, it actually ripped through the space-time continuum, and can now be viewed crashing backwards.

That certainly seems the simplest explanation anyway. Occam's Razor, and all that.

You know, if you google news, the words, "ocean" and "missle" you get 3 articles about the mysterious ufo, but you also get one hit that says this.

French Ballistic Missile Test Called a Success
Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010

After multiple launches from land, France's Defense Ministry said it today conducted a successful sea-based test of a new ballistic missile, Agence France-Presse reported (see GSN, April 28, 2008).

"Everything went as planned" in the Atlantic Ocean firing of the M51 missile from the submarine Le Terrible, the agency said in a prepared statement.

The new weapon is more precise than the existing M45 ballistic missile and is capable of flying 5,000 miles (Agence France-Presse/Spacewar.com, Jan. 27).

Wonder if they are connected?

The better question is did France surrender to themselves after the missle launched?

This picture was shot from the coast of Canada. It appears France fired a test missile off our coast and the Canadian government has no comment.

Officials look at report of mysterious object in sky over N.L. south coast

Canadian Press THE CANADIAN PRESS

HARBOUR MILLE, N.L. - The RCMP and federal officials weren't saying much Wednesday about the reported sighting earlier this week of mysterious missile-like objects in the sky off southern Newfoundland.
David Charbonneau, a spokesman for Public Safety Canada, said in an email that the federal government was "aware of media reports of public sightings of unidentified objects" off Newfoundland but said the RCMP was investigating.
The RCMP, however, disputed that and referred all comment back to Public Safety Canada.
Helen Cleary-Escott, an RCMP spokeswoman, said there is no debris or any other evidence that would allow the Mounties to investigate the matter.
VOCM radio in St. John's, N.L., citing a French media report, said that France had conducted a ballistic missile test in the Atlantic Ocean.
A call to the Canadian military to confirm the missile testing wasn't returned Wednesday.

Looks very much like an ICBM to me.

Not that I would know anything about ballistic missile submarines. :)
