I've seen the term CAP beer, and CAP lager in this and other forums, but can't seem to find what it stands for or definition.

I was just looking at what others had posted about pitching 34/70 yeast above 60*F, and it came up again.

Thanks for the link. That did not come up on search sites, just adds for caps with beer logos and such.

Made something like that today, but not with 6 row, 10# pilsen, 6# pale, 1# Munich(aromatic), 1# wheat, 1# flaked corn. Been messing around with different ratios, seems like a decent balance. Got 1.056 out of that, yeast(34/70) is already going, likely last lager pitch of the season. That will probably run down to about 1.008, the way theings are going.

I made almost the same recipe a few weeks ago when the cellar was 55*F, now it is 60, main ferment will probably run in the mid 60s. Will be a good to compare similar brews with same lager yeast at different temps.
