I've been using up some old hops. 8 ozs of Perle, and 8 ozs Fuggles found in vacuum packed bags in the bottom of the freezer. I estimate they are from 2002.
Used them in FWH, flavor and aroma additions. I bittered with fresh Galena to make sure I got some decent IBUs.
Accounting for the AA knockdown over the years, I estimate 70 IBUs in 1.070 beer. Brewed 7 gallons.
I have none of the hops left (used them all up). Wondering what to use for dry hop. The English type varieties I have available are: First Gold, US Goldings, Styrian Goldings, Willamette, and Delta.
Any suggestions?
