My wife was asking me what she should get me for Christmas and I started thinking about what I wanted for making beer. So far I'm pretty easy - was thinking of a new Ink Bird temp controller, a small bucket for making small batches on the stove over the winter, a book on porters and stouts. All pretty easy and inexpensive stuff.

So what would be on your Christmas wish list this year?!

my in-laws are pretty epic gift givers (last christmas i got a 7.1cf chest freezer...) and my wife and i decided to take some cash out of our family budget and have a good christmas this year... so i have decent hopes... but we're also buying a house when our lease is up. So i'm happy with anything :)

I put together a list, had homebrewing things as well as normal stuff. but this is what was on my homebrewing list.

14.5 gallon fermenter from chapman brewing company
20 gallon concord pot
15.5 gallon decommisioned sanke kegs from widmer
stainless racking cane
perlick faucet to replace the last crappy one i have
hops - misc
sack of 2row

those are on the list... i'd be happy with any of them as i'm brewing fine now, but it's always nice to upgrade

Among other things, some beer kits I thought I'd like, or do like. Maybe some other home brewing swag? Reclining chairs &/or table/lamp combo for the man cave/brewery. Widescreen HDTV for said man cave to rig to the computer tower for watching videos, movies, etc. Stuff like that.

I didn't really ask for much. My girlfriends bound to get me brewing stuff whether I ask for it or not, but I do recall asking for a dogfish head shirt. That's about it :p

I have brewing gear coming out of my nose, so none of that stuff for xmas this year.

I did ask for the meat grinder and sausage stuffer attachments for my Kitchen Aid mixer though, pretty pumped about that. First on the list: venison bratwurst:ban:

I'm hard to shop for, because if I want something, I just buy it. Most of our family buy gift cards for each other. But I'd like a decent pH meter (e.g., Hach) and a RO water system.

Each year we usually say to each other, "just get what you want...Merry Xmas!"

We're trying to steer clear of gifts this year since we both want to do another trip asap. This past summer on a whim we drove up through Michigan, through the UP, down to door county Wisconsin, across to Iowa and home all in the name of "I wanna see what the UP looks like" adventure, camping the whole time. Btw, it does not disappoint. That place is beautiful!

Anyways, our next trip is going to be out to the Grand Canyon then up through Utah, and Colorado. Pretty stoked!

I'd love some brew stuff though. Really need a bottle capper lol!

If you like the UP, you should really venture up the North Shore of Lake Superior and go the the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. THAT is some gorgeous stuff right there!

I know I have a snowballs chance in hell of getting it but I can wish:

Full electric Kal system for my basement. Vent hood, wash sink, and all the associated plumbing and wiring needed! And a Monster Mill to feed it!

Man I've always heard that and its definitely on the bucket list! We've got kayaks and really enjoy the "North Woods" feel! I maybe next Christmas?! Lol

Gordon Strong's Modern Homebrew Recipes... That's about it. I love my brewing set up as is. Maybe one day I'd like to move it indoors and electric somehow.... But for now, I don't want much!

Better way to chill my wort or a large rain barrel to store immersion chiller water. Really the Blichmann Therminator would be my choice.

A new burner. Mine is starting to age and probably uses more propane than necessary.

Equipment shelving. The equipment needs to be all in one place.

A larger boil kettle would be nice. Currently 7.5 is just enough.

A couple Perlick faucets. Still using the party tap.

Got my puppy this weekend, all I wanted. I dont think the wife has any idea what to get me. Probably wind up with some clothes I wont wear, and some tasty expensive beers.

As part as the kitchen remodel we are doing, I had to get a stainless front door (with black sides), two Perlick tap digital kegerator, to "match the new kitchen appliances" (at least that was my reasoning to her so she would naturally go for it) :) I hope Santa brings a new Blichmann 14.5 gallon fermenator with the tri-clover fittings..... This size is compact enough to fit in an upright freezer and does everything I need it to do. Carboys are fine but it would be nice to dump yeast and trub and not have to use a siphon.

That's me, we don't usually exchange gifts between the wife and me. We'll get what we want ourselves if we can afford it, if not, we don't get it....

I'm hoping to get the rest of the parts to finish our all grain setup and kegerator! The kegerator needs taps, a couple kegs, and a paint job. The brew rig just needs time!!! I also asked for the Brewing Elements Series books!

If you come through Colorado, you should try to come through Durango! Great small town, beautiful mountains and 6 breweries in less than 5 miles! :tank:

My fifth perlick for my keezer and two new 3 way valves. Been wanting to try some, thought why not. Not spending a lot this year, concentrating on the kids.

In our household, Christmas gifts are pretty much sure things - we get very little from others since we live across the globe from my family and hers has no cultural history of celebrating Christmas, so my wife and I mostly give/get what we've asked one another for within reason.

I'll be getting a sausage stuffer/grinder. For the household, I bought a 389L fridge. If I can figure out how to replace the fridge portion's thermostat, that'll be fermenter space while the freezer will be our small household equivalent of a chest freezer since our freezer is always full to bursting and sausage stuffing isn't going to make it any emptier.
