Thanks for the good wishes, I've been rubbing in a menthol cream, taking turmeric and NSAIDS ice sometimes, and my chiropractor adjusted the knee which really helped a lot.. Just can't see her everyday, lol.

Ice. Ice. Ice.

I’m also a firm believer in Glucosamine. Yes I know there are no randomized studies that actually show it works vs. placebo. I’m here to tell you that it works. You don’t notice it when you take it, you notice it when you stop taking it. If I run out and go a week or three before getting back to the store to buy more I noticed more aches and pains. It just helps with the little aches and pains. It’s magic joint grease.
I strongly recommend vitamin D especially for those of us who live up here in New Eingland we don’t get enough sunlight and we don’t manufacture enough vitamin D which is very important for bone health. It keeps your periosteum happy. I prescribe it for my patients all the time.

Did I mention ice?

I am not your PCP and I don’t know your personal health history so you should definitely talk this over with your PCP and get their advice. My advice was worth what you paid for it.

Thanks ptn. And I'm so glad to hear you reconfirm confirm my suspicions that ice can really work. I'll seek out some glucosamine thanks. I have at least two surgeries that I need and I'm in pretty bad shape. Years of football and wrestling did me in. Sry ot,

Ot i am eating jello and crackers. Last week i was diagnosed with diverticulitis, whatever the heck that is. Have learned more about it but it did me in. So yay, cooking jello!

Man I landed in the hospital for 8 days in May 2017 with diverticulitis so TAKE CARE OF IT! Most miserable 8 days of my life, no lie.

I still won't eat strawberries or sesame seeds or anything with tiny seeds, and I do what my surgeon said - chew everything into tiny bits til there's nothing left in my mouth to swallow.

As for CBD oil or lotion, I believe it's legal in all 50 if it's hemp derived - we just had a discussion about this on another board I'm on. As long as there is no THC in it, it's legal, so I read anyway.

AS for dinner - ate leftover rack of lamb, mashed taters and brown gravy, peas with butter. Pretty dang tasty leftovers!

Smoked chicken wings. Injected with butter / hot sauce and smoked over cherry wood.

Boulliabase with clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp, red snapper and soft shell crab. The broth was made from lobster bodies as well as fish heads. Real saffron and leeks were available, and I prepared the red peppers garlic spread, ( I forget the French name for it, and probably wouldn't spell it correctly anyway). Now time to put my feet up and give the leg a rest, while I have a homebrew.

Pizza night was another rave success.

Earlier today, I made the comment to my wife that instead of making pizza, maybe we could order in instead? Answer was (predictably) a resounding "No".

So, homemade pizza it was, and man, was it good. Wife said it was in the top 2, maybe 3, pizzas I've made. Made me glad I took the time to make our own instead of ordering in for pizza.

Showing my work: each pie is ~14" (tho) in diameter after cooking

Wife and son's pizza (all pepperoni, half 'shroom)

Super, super tasty.

And I have half of my pizza left for lunch tomorrow, which will go nicely with some Buffalo chicken legs.
