Negative.

However, it took me approx. 2 years of making them to really get the folds down. And even then, an Asian grandmother would probably call them a disgrace.

I just made potstickers the other night and never appreciated the art of folding the dough until then. Looks simple enough but I managed to make it awfully complicated. Yours looked very well put together.

Found some energy yesterday afternoon and finally put all the holiday leftovers to use making soups. Did lentil, 15 bean and beef barley and let them simmer all evening and resumed this morning.

Sampled them all for lunch. 15 bean turned out solid - but I'll probably add some more red pepper flakes before I put it into containers to freeze.

Lentil is perfect with a few shots of jalapeño pepper sauce. Best of the three.

The beef barley is the heartiest but ended up a touch salty.

Should be set for a while now that the cold weather is moving in.

Mise en place for Broccoli with Tofu, fried rice, and Baked Teriyaki Chicken Legs (in vac sealed bag to marinate for two days).

I made grilled chicken & fettucini Alfredo again. I like it. No pics. Didn't happen.

Wow - that's enough soup to feed a platoon!! :rockin:

How long does it last you?

Looks delicious! :mug:

It's -20 celcius outside today, need something to warm me up.

A big pork outer filet, with a chopped red onion and some seasoning -> into the Le Creuset pot with the lid on -> 100 celcius oven for 13 hours. Meat was falling apart with a fork and there was about 1 litre of juices.

Soaked a kilo of peas overnight in water. Pulled the pot out of the oven and onto the stovetop, added the peas, a glass of water and some black peppercorns.

I'm guessing it will be ready for lunch - about 2 hours from now.

Any man that can make 168 thousand cookies over the holidays will be meticulous in his dice:D

No tape measure, just lots of practice - and I may be slightly anal retentive. ;)

I eat soup for lunch every day so only a couple of weeks. Then I'll probably do a couple of batches of chili.

How can THAT be unhealthy?

Roasted veggie - HEALTHY

Hot Sauce - HEALTHY

Combine the two - SUPER DUPER HEALTHFOOD!! :rockin:

Agreed. And anyway veggies are like negative when it comes to unhealthy. I am sure that more than makes up for the butter and hot sauce. The hot sauce is not bad for you and the spicy is a fat burner. And if julia child and paula deen have anything to say about it butter is good for you as well.

Well, Julia is dead and Paula has the 'beetus. (Though Julia lived to be 91). But I must admit that there is no substitute for butter that ever made me exclaim "I can't believe it's not butter!".

Ground turkey tacos. Good.

I like those flat bottomed shells as well. Once you try those there is no going back.

Some ketchup for me cause you know im up to stuff:

Tonight used pressure cooker to make risotto(?) Being generous probably not, and had it with leftover Christmas ham that i seal a mealed with my new toy still fresh for sure. Ham was mustard cinnamon ginger cumin sugar salt neelys holliday rub.

Man that soup (dahl) i made with lentils, chillean evoo, fresh mirepoix, boulion powder/water and that ham was epic. Ok not epic but tasted like a Nepalese restaurant. had with basmati rice all week. My kids were chowing it which tells you something cause they don't throw the chicken nuggets down for nothing.

Had a ceasar last night with grilled chicken that we grilled a bunch of and seal a mealed. I want to make a bunch of stuff and just be like what do i want tonight hmmm and have all these seal a meal options

Breakfast for dinner! Eggs fresh from the hens today, I concider this perfectly basted. You can see it is a balanced meal... Notice the vegetables on the plate! ;)

Those eggs look delicious. It doesn't take much to make some delicious eggs but I swear it gets lost on some people. Yours look perfect.
