I remember Emril lugasi doing one of those with smoked samon & other stuff.

Yes. Smoked salmon, lobster, shrimp and scallops. Hope it's as good as I built it up in my head to be.

No pics but I'm doing a beef Wellington, Gordon Ramsay's recipe. It goes in the oven in 20 minutes.

I've done it a few times before and it's always great.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Dry aged, 2 pound, bone in rib eye steak. Ready for seasoning and some cast iron love.

Awesome.. That looks delicious! I also dry age and dry cure in my keg fridge using the UMAi Drybag method. Results are phenomenal, and it's become another hobby I'm hooked on. I frequent the dry aging forum as well, and wrote a detailed post on my 60 day aged ribeye, that ruined any chances I'll ever enjoy a 'normal' steak again :rockin:

I have to try this....

Fresh from the oven... First time making pretzels and using my spent grain. I was aided by my 10 yo daughter and 9 yo grand-daughter... :rockin:

Re-brewed my Silver Medal Belgian Golden Rye and decided to use some of the grain... I roasted my wet spent grain until it had a nice dark brown color and then used my coffee grinder to pulverize it. Pure heaven with spicy brown mustard! The Rye Malt is just enough to add to the taste of the regular flour.

Edited because I'm OCD about typos!

Last night I carved the turkey I roasted on Wed. and wife made the rest of the turkey day feast. Mashed taters, stuffing (Cornbread stuffing, but I prefer the breadcrumb myself) green bean casserole, gravy, and slice of pumpkin pie.

Then I took the carcass and boiled up some turkey stock and plan to make some creamy turkey and wild rice soup soon. Not sure how soon though, cause we had a LOT of food in the fridge right now!
