Crispy skin salmon, rice and salad.
The package says baby red lettuce and radicchio.Looks like more than just spinach in the salad. What else is in there?

True! kalamata olives are on there, dressed with olive oil and midrange balsamic.In the pic, it looks like some kind of olives are mixed in.

Reverse sear boneless ribeye, Parmesan frico potatoes, roasted balsamic tomatoes. Good stuff!

I only "liked" that post because there isn't a "drool" option -- love the idea of parmesan frico on potatoes -- any special preparation for that?
Some French toast with a basted egg.
Finally had the time to cook the corned beef and cabbage dinner, with homemade Irish brown bread. I also sliced 3.5 pounds of cabbage for sauerkraut. It’s in the crock as I wait for the first little “bloop” of fermentation gas.

Crudo, then lamb (slightly over)
Cut your potatoes to even size, toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, ground thyme. Grate 3/4 C block Parmesan cheese (the green stuff doesn't work!), press the cut side of the potatoes into the cheese to build up a thick coat, place cheese side down on your baking sheet with some space between. Sprinkle any remaining cheese on top, bake at 400*F for 25 minutes. Crispy, cheesey, tasty! I started baking my potatoes like this all the time. Takes half the time and I like the crust that forms from the potato being on the baking sheet.

The lamb and potatoes look so good.
Chicken and dumplings, crispy chicken skin, schmaltz and garlic toast. This is good, if I say so myself.

Homemade pretzel, weisswurst, eggs (hubby prefers cooked yolks
) and HB Hefe to drink. German breakfast at home. The little puddle on the plate is dark sweet German mustard.

Top round for London broil with mash and there was also salad to start.
I’ve never heard of crudo. Is is like an Italian version of ceviche?

Where did you get the weisswurst? It's hard to find in my area. There are Boarshead weisswurst and they are good, but I'm always looking for different providers.
This came from Lidl, and it’s not available all the time like the various brats they stock.
Homemade corned beef hash, eggs and since I haven’t had time to bake, manufactured toast.

After a long day of roofing in the Arizona sun, it’s grilled Tri-Tip tonight
Damp cold days of Spring require a hot bowl of beef and bean chili.
Tonight, grilled chicken drumsticks, seasoned potatoes, steamed brussel sprouts drizzled with evoo and peach flavored balsamic, and sliced fresh picked strawberries.
Just finished a mondo sized batch of HomeBrewed, farmer's dog type supplement for the doggo's kibble.
10 lb of legs/thighs for $7.90. plus white rice, & some carrots and peas I diced and cooked. Mixed in a huge bowl and put into gallon ziplock bags, pushed flat for easy storage and portioned for 4-5 day amounts. All the fat/grease and juice is put in a ball jar. (For gravy for dogs) The bones go into a crock pot for broth/stock for us, soups and gravies.
Ironically, I am the lucky one. They are very good doggos.
