What commercial beers are in your 'fridge?

Arrogant Bastard is Stone. I had one last week. I like it better than their IPA. Too many IPAs today are about the IBU-race. I prefer a well balanced beer and Arrogant Bastard fills that niche quite well. I also picked up another 6-pack of Celebration Ale. Damn is that stuff tasty, I just wish it came in re-usable bottles.

I've got a couple things in the fridge

Allagash Grand Cru
Rogue Imperial IPA
Redhook Sunrye
Stone IPA
Weyerbacher Double Simcoe IPA
Goose Island Stout
Hop Rod Rye
Harpoon IPA
Heavy Seas' Peg Leg Imperial Stout
Heavy Seas Small Craft Warning Pils
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Sierra Nevada Celebration Alea
Boont Amber Ale
Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
Sammy Smith's Lager

There are more that are NOT in the fridge, too. These are in a closet upstairs and I'm too lazy to go look and see what all is there, but I know I have these (and maybe one or two others)

Sierra's Bigfoot Barleywine
Duval
Redhook ESB
Dogfish Head Chickory Stout

-walker

edit: for full disclosure, I have some Coors Light and Bud Light in the fridge, too. This was left over from when my family came down to visit for thanksgiving, but it's not really 'beer' in my eyes so I didn't originally count it.

Currently have:

Stoudt's HefeWeizen
Troegs Mad Elf

Prior to that we went through some Optimator, Troegs Oatmeal Stout and Franziskaner Dunkel. Gotta love the distributor that carries Optimator for $24.

Arrogant Bastard is mighty good, I too prefer it over most IPA's. Although for IPA's lately I've been sticking with Bell's Two Hearted Ale and Three Floyd's Alpha King, both really good without being majorly bitter or overdone.

I think I'm also in a minority in that the celebration ale didn't do much for me... It was good, but to me just tasted like a hopped up SNPA. Good, but didn't live up to all the hype I've heard about it...

I'm definitely one of the Celebration Ale fans. I've heard there were 2 batches this year and the second batch is supposedly better, apparently the hops didn't have the AA expected and they adjusted for greater hoppiness.

However; I picked up a Celebration Ale off of the counter yesterday that I had poured and then allowed to come up to drinking temperature. After a couple drinks I decided to just pour it down the drain, it tasted nearly completed unhopped and sickly malt sweet. As I was going to the sink I saw the bottle and realized that I had not poured SNCA but rather a Gordon Biersch Winter Bock. It's amazing how much expectations can alter perceptions. I doubt Winter Bock will make a list of my favorite beers but expecting it to taste like Celebration Ale is not fair at all! :D

I have Leinie's Big Butte Doppelbock and Great Lakes' Edmund Fitzgerald Porter.

The Great Lakes tastes alright, if you like hoppy porters, but I've had three or four that were at least as good. The Big Butte doppelbock, by Leinie's is an outright scam. Doppel? I think not! A bock? Ummm.. maybe. It's about 5.7% ABV, IIRC, and pretty damn watery. Yep. Imagine your favorite doppelbock mixed with 70% Budweiser. Very disappointing. And that's turning me off from trying other offerings from other larger breweries. I've been curious about Michelob's(?) chocolate beer that they've been selling in 4 packs, but with the disappointing taste of Leinie's offering, I'm too skeptical to spend the $7 for the 4 pack.

Then again, to my taste, all of Leinie's brews are weak and flavorless, so maybe it's just me.

Flying Dog IPA
SNPA
S.A. Cherry Wheat
N.B. Sunshine Wheat
Old Peculiar
Miller Lite (I know, I know....Some habits die hard)
1554
Broken Halo

I have a case of the Sam Adams brewmasters collection, well about 18 of 24 left that was bought by mistake because I asked someone else to see if the distributor had the Long Shot homebrew winners when the truck came to the bar. The driver apparantly doesn't know his beer. The 3 beers in the case are pretty good though. The honey porter I think is excellent, the Black lager is in there too and I like it, Brown Ale not great, but certainly not bad. buying beer by mistake can be good afterall.

I also have some Budweiser and Miller Lite for friends that don't like homebrew, but lately I have been keeping up with the homebrew enough to only drink commercial beer in bars. here is a list of some that I drink in bars though

Great Lakes Burning River
Sam Adams Boston Lager
Sam Adams any seasonal buy white ale
Newcastle (not crazy about it but one of my favorite bars has BMC and Newcastle)
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Victory Hop Devil (My favorite commercial beer, but I can only get it in my neighboring state of PA)
Yuengling Lager (also have to go to PA to get)
Almost all West Virginia Brewing Company Beers (my only local micro)
Widmer (can't remember the name of the beer, had one when I was out of town and loved it can't find it locally)

Blue Moon Belgian Wheat (it's aight)
Some German Dunkel i haven't tried yet (too lazy to look)
Trader Joe's Hefeweizen (standard bavarian style)
La Fin Du Monde
Bitch Creeke (seriously, just had to try it. the description sounded good :D)
PBR (heh)
i think there's more, but i can't remember what and, like i said, i'm lazy

Samual Adams - Hefeweizen
Samual Adams - Black Lager
Thirsty Dog - Russian Imperial Stout
Thirsty Dog - Old Leghumper
Great Lakes Brewing - Dortmunder Gold (always have a 6 of this around)
Blue Moon - Spring Ale (this is some good stuff IMO)
Bud Ice - just about the only en masse BMC that I can drink

Unibroue Seigneuriale
RedBach (Rodenbach + kreik)
Brooklyn Brewery's Local 1
[Aged] Eye of the Hawk
[Aged] Brimstone Big Ale

And lots and lots of homebrew. :D
