Made a Mexican lager using WLP940 Mexican Lager Yeast. I harvested/washed the yeast and am looking to make another beer with it. Besides a Mexican lager, what else would be good with this yeast?
Not much of a branch out from what you already made, but I'm a fan of dark lagers. I'd have no problem pitching that into a Vienna, or dunkel. Probably try to nail down a modelo negra clone, myself.
You can make ANY lager style with this yeast. Don't even need to call it "Mexican". It is rated very highly among all lager yeasts. Consider making a doppelbock for Easter, or a maibock for May/spring. Cheers.
