My girlfriend and I have gone to town tonight on Twisted Thistle IPA, Arrogant Bastard Ale, and Otter Creek Black IPA. How about you fine folks?:mug:

Well, I had a couple Egg Nog and spiced rums a while ago.. but then I burped, some acid came up and burned the throat.. So it looks like it's milk from here on out this evening...

Eh, tomorrow is another day.. and the better games are on anyways...

my irish stout i bottled a week ago is almost ready, but not quite ready yet, to drink. so i've been drinking some 2* below ale. it's the seasonal winter ale from new belgium brewing company. had to have something to drink while brewing up another batch this evening. :mug:

Just got back from a homebrew tasting with Randar and Rocketman768. In the end we sampled about 20 different brews and had some good brewing related discussions.

One of my last bombers of my first all grain brew. It was supposed to be a slightly arrogant bastardish ale with a little carafa II, but I got distracted while grabbing grains, it got a little white wheat, and it became my Tragic Mulatto. Early on it tasted odd, now I'm loving it. Only 66 oz. left and I think I need to rebrew it now that my pipeline is getting built, and I can bypass the whole weird period.

Pipeline. The use of that word for brew planning cracks me up. I need to use it more often

6 pack of torpedo - killed
2 750ml bottles of la fin de mooned - killed
2 750 ml bottles of 15% mead- killed

All this after a double batch brew day!
10 gallons rye pale ale and 10 of a moose drool brown!

working on my last pint of the evening, a stone ipa clone that is just heavenly. well maybe one more..:tank:

sounds like one hell of a martini

It's decent. I'm on my third. You can also use pickled onions, although I think they're a bit too sweet. I stir these after the tradition at Le Tigre, a bar around these parts. There, I have a Grey Goose martini with two green, pimento-stuffed olives.

For mine at home I do:

4 shots vodka
1/2 shot of extra dry vermouth, plus a swish in the glass and then dumped
put all of that on a ton of ice in a shaker, stir with a swizzle stick
pour over two pickled mushrooms or onions on a stick in a martini glass

serve

drink

pass out happy

lol try it on my side. I have to climb the stairs and get in bed with the wife.

mines already in bed. went up there to give her a little kiss goodnight, tripped over the not so observant kitty (wouldn't a cat see you coming and move?) and pretty much landed on her. now I'm back in the basement and probably confined to the couch. one more beer I guess

lol, I'm well on my way. I'm in the upper-basement family room and probably confined to here if I don't get my ass upstairs in 10 minutes. Martini is empty too.

All cluster APA, Irish Stout, Cloumbus IPA.

I dont ever get to drink beer and post. This is fun:D

It'll probably be this but the female version b y the time I get up there.

Why do people do remakes that are neither different (ie, a creative twist on the original) nor better than the original?

That doesn't hold a candle to the Alice version...

BTW, what's the trick to directly embedding a youtube vid in a post here?
