Amazing!

I can't be bothered to flick back through the last few pages to find out what horrible transgression you perpetrated.Makes me feel better to hear..I thought this was one of the less serious threads on the forum... I enjoy being a bit silly from time to time and felt this was the place to do it![]()
Can't do the Heinous Grouse...
Too hoppy for style but good IMHO... I lived in DC area 25 years so I've had a few of these... I used to own 718 I Street in Near NE, right next to Trinidad... near the brewery in Ivy City. Spent many a late nite at Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club bar on Bladensburg Rd. NE, where it was featured next to the PBR.Grabbed a sixer of this for some commercial calibration.

I love me some English styles. I should brew a bitter with some EKG.Kitchen pass for a couple weeks while my wife is in Minnesota attending a wedding and other events.
Stopped this afternoon at a buddy's brewery (Apogee Brewing), for a couple beers.
First up a By Jove, an English style Pale Ale. (not pictured). Tasted a bit off, and I let them know. Next up Space Cadet, a Belgian style Blonde ale. Quite good.

Lastly, a short pout of a Brown Ale, Booster Brown. OK, but I it should be better. Too hoppy and not sweet/malty enough.

After I got home I had a glass of my own Best Bitter, "Bugger All." Yeah, that's better.
