I picked it up at Lidl it’s from Germany, how bad can it be? Well, it’s good nice hop forward and malty. I wouldn’t describe it as crisp, but a good lager nonetheless. They also carry a hefe by this brewery which I haven’t tasted yet. To my surprise they’ve had 4 pk cans of Delirium Tremens for under $19.
Goodwill. Got a lot of nice glassware there. Sometimes wife and I will do tour of them around town hunting for hidden gems.
Got distracted but finished the evening with another HB DIPA and a WAY too large pour of 14% HB Mead with Ancho Chilli liquor added. I'm a light weight anymore but currently getting ready for a beer infested lunch. Son and future DiL taking me out...

Vesper Martini. I made sure to follow Bond's suggestion and use a vodka made from grain instead of potatoes. No Gordon's though. Gordon's sucks!

HB WCDIPA. Met two random Huskers today. One at Pinthouse and one during Back-to-School night with the grandson. Sign we're winning the National Championship against tExas! 
Half HB Dubbel and Half HB Cherry Quad. Only way this works for the Quad. Served in an awesome Goodwill find.

This has been in the back of the fridge for way too long, but it still tastes delicious.
Waiting for my son who left this here to come back and drink it. He hasn't so I guess I'll free up the beer fridge space. Actually, not too bad, if you like strawberry in your beer.
In honor of news from my best and longest buddy. He and his wife became parents to a pair of tiny angels. One under 4lbs, another under 3lbs, they need every well wish that can be gathered.
My HB 1914 Courage Imperial, brewed around the arrival of my own youngest child.
Angel's Envy, brought to me last spring in a very surprise visit by this same best friend.

HB Buckwheat and Maple Mead. This is definitely the most interesting brew I’ve ever done. The color and clarity are phenomenal. It’s begging for some bourbon soaked oak though. I confirmed this by pouring a shot of bourbon in this glass.
Working thru some Channel Marker.

One of these tonight. Pretty good and for just a minute I felt like it cooled off outside, not quite a chill, but it was welcome relief.
Dandy Brewing Co. Pineapple Milkshake Sour. This is so very good, I hope it becomes a regular brew! Just a touch of pineapple during the sour beginning and a tasty hit of biscuit at the end. Great beer...and it's clear!!

For the new folks....this is my old name. If you ever interested in history.
Liquor store started selling random tall cans by the each. I wish that was more common but either it’s not a thing in this area, or it’s just another stupid MN alcohol law. Picked up one of these while Oktoberfest hunting.
I made a vesper a few months back, took a little while to round up the proper ingredients. I used a lillet blanc, was the closest I could find, also did not use Gordon's.
Was excited for this one, it's good but not outstanding, maybe I amped it up to much in my head.
An excellent Lawson and wife is having a mule.
Ironic. My go to packy down the street got some Fuzzy Ducks from a drop off on a festival they did that yesterday. Sadly online it was reserved but someone picked it up physically. I was hoping a FF would conjure up a pic
