A few gems from @TheDudeLebowski before game night with some friends.

Founders all day, while the brisket absorbs the rub as it awaits the smoker. 15.4lbs some fat trimmed so probably right around 15lb now, not much to trim off this one, a good example of USDA prime. Low and slow for this one.

Edit: the aroma from where I'm sitting as I took this picture is out of this world. Had to add that.

Wife took me to a few breweries for my 56th, I don’t feel as old as my dad seemed to be at the same age. Ended the night at home with my old faithful!

On another note my 2.5 years brewing as a head brewer for a small 3 bbl brewery came to an end as I decided to take some time to myself. Then a larger brewery called and asked for help, something about people willing to spend money drinking beer you make has a certain kind of draw.

I went to get a beer out of the fridge and decided to give this a shot instead while I string up the lacrosse goal we bought for our daughter. It’s hitting the spot right now while I sweat it all out in the garage.
I can see this being an option over the summer. Light & refreshing but not overly sweet & fake like the hard seltzers I’ve tried.

19th hole.

Stranger walked up to the first tee this afternoon and asked if he could join me. I got him by the third hole but there's a two stroke swing. His first of seven birdies to come. He waits until the 17th tee to inform me he's on the Mass amateur circuit. He kicks my ass with a 67.

It's funny. I shouldn't be pissed but I am. I wasn't even close to him.

I was gonna hang out on the clubs 19th. Went straight home.
