A couple friends from my homebrew club have opened their own brewery. Well, soft open today anyway. Stopped after work to check them out. First pint, (below), was a brown ale. Quite good. Next up was a blonde ale which was not so good in my opinion. I picked up on an off flavor, diacetyl I believe. Hopefully just some growing pains and they'll get it figured out soon.

These were this weeks beers for the newly turned 21 year old at work. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale was a little too much for him last week. I figured I better try these again to be prepped for Monday.

I felt so guilty thinking I owed you beer! We are still stuck on our 1 bbl system until our 25 week back ordered part shows up for the 3.5bbl system.
