Hoping to kill a keg of IPA. It’s one of those zombie kegs that staunchly refuses to kick. It’s an ugly looking thing, but that’s what happens when you go off the chain with the dry hops.

Got out fishing today, trying to warm up with the mighty Sparklepuff. It's a good thing I love Spey casting. Brrrr!

As a rule, I do not give likes to commercial beers. I do, however, like Spey Casting.

At first, I started learning it as a joke. Oh, no. Oh, no, Oh, no.

So useful. So amazingly useful.

Have you tried it with a shooting head? It's my go-to when steel heading. It lets you cover you beats and keep moving before your nethers climb up into your throat.

(Dual purpose post...)

Hey lawdawg, I'll see your aluminum and raise you a ceramic...

Old Ale from a kit, I'm drinking the last one that didn't quite fill up.
Kinda sweet from the priming sugar but has promise.

40 bottles of all different sizes (if you discount the one that wasn't full).
Same as last batch, 40, all different sizes.
Same as batch before that.
How is that possible?

Ja, I'm using a shooting head, doing the Skagit technique. It's just cold here right now (-15ºC ), so I went as long as I could!

Feeling classy today, and having warm sake in a fancy mug. :D
