TGIF!!! Grill Shot. A very good WCIPA, a local collab.

Featuring Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Enigma hops, the aroma explodes with notes of citrus, passionfruit and papaya. A big dose of wheat and oats help to keep the mouthfeel soft and luscious while a fermentation with neutral ale yeast leaves a dry, crisp finish.

Gonna have to contemplate but the new treehouse location on the cape is probably best brewhouse in Mass. No crowds but pickup and draft lines were confusing. Recent no name storm hit 90mph and backed ocean into brewery. This area is one of my hidden gems on the cape. If u want good seafood this has the best.

Started the day playing golf. Aaaand on the way home hit Trillium and Vitamin Sea to stock up for the holidays.

BTW I always wear shorts playing golf. These people in winter coats can not be from Mass

Went in for one, came out with three. I only heard of Better Half recently. It's funny because it's been around a long time but that happens a lot despite being on two beer forums.

That's sweet Hogarth throwing a screen pass for twelve yards and a first down.
Edit: Take note of the concentration.
Coulda used him at Michigan last week

What year is that? Haven’t seen it around and I think I have back to 2015 in the cellar 😄 only beer better is the BA version imo

lol that expedition is September of 2021! I bought a 6 pack to put into age with the rest of my expeditions but grabbed this one from the cooler so I can just enjoy one. I do like the roast but a few years aging rounds it out perfectly so the other flavors come through better. I expeditions going back to 2016 now. I drank my last 2014 and 2015 last year - boo! I personally think 3-4 years is the sweet spot but it changes and rounds out excellently in just 1-2yrs.

EDIT: I will also add that the 2021 edition is very good. Last year, it seemed to be a little boozier than normal. This year, the roast is the forefront but not harsh roast at all. dark chocolate lingers in the after taste. Pretty smooth given its young age too. The booze is well hidden on this one with just the great warming alcohol sensation towards the end of the palate.

EDIT2: I forgot that last year was an anniversary year so they amped it up in the abv category hence the boozier than normal memory lol.
