You’re gonna see a lot of alchemist posts, since I just came back with a crap ton load. The kids had beer ottomans on the way home...2 cases in each of their footwells. And that was just the tip of iceberg.

I brought this back from Chile two years ago? It's really quite nice...tossed it in the freezer to drink from the bottle next week when it's in the 80s-90s here.

2oz gin, 0.25oz F-B, 0.25oz Chart., 0.5oz lemon juice, 1oz basil simple syrup, and absinthe rinse for the glass (x2) <---this is today/now

I drove 400 miles today, to two different locations, to pick up repair parts for a truck and a combine. Getting everything ready for harvest is so fun and relaxing. Not.
To tired to chose appropriate glassware. HB Lawnmower Blonde in a Walmart plastic cup.

Kolsch after work. No cats to feed this time though.
They were tasty. The dark definitely had some bourbon to it, which was kind of odd to me since I haven't had too many similar to that but still good. The golden was just a good sour, not much from the tequila barrels.
Definitely worth a drink if you managed to keep some for yourself.
