When I flew into Phoenix for college in June 1985 from the mountains in California it was quite a wake up call. If I remember correctly, a week or so later, it never got below 100 in a 24hr period. Personally, I take the heat over -10F Lincoln. Stay hydrated!
I'm pretty sure they fermented this with hefe yeast, and it among the best juicy beers I've had. Rolls from banana to guava to honeydew. Guess I'll have to try weihenstephaner yeast.
