Seems like a Norway Brewing Company night since my homie @MC82 is cracking some open

Got to be honest on this one. I love NBC beers but this one is almost dead flat. A flat Triple is NOT a Triple.

I think I’m dumping it. The flavor is delish, I just can justify drinking a flat 12% beer at 10 o’clock at night. I have another bottle I the cellar. Hopefully it’s just this bottle.

Went to check cold cellar “keezer” and all I found was Jolly Pumpkin Sours (assuming from @orionol73 FOTD awhile ago and Rare Barrel Sours from 1 of the Cali boys) and this. I’m smacked and this is over a year old and over oaked, no vanilla and OVERRATED!

The only time I’ve ever paid for that beer was a day Sam was at The Sunset Grill in Alston ( 60 taps and 500 bottles, this was way before it was common place) he poured and handed me my pint. Maybe 12 years or so ago? That beer and 120 I just can bring myself to buy. 40 bucks a 4 pack!??

I appreciate the pic and story. I respect brewers who make sure that extra thought is offered. That said, all co proud I tasted some co grain and was like, great where's the golden promise.

Aging myself but I think it was meant to mean that the thing that isn't beer in the pic is very similar to the totem Greg Brady found in Hawaii that caused all kinds of problems for the Bradys
