Good morning everyone had me some coffee now I'm heading to the National Homebrew day event at the local brew shop. I'm bringing my fly sparge propane set up to do a dark czech lager. We got other people bringing it grain father, robobrew, excetera

How well does your vent handle condensation?

Not sure if you really meant condensation or just moisture.

It does a good job. Only flaw I have noticed is thst it is mounted too high above the kettle so a little bit of steam can sometimes not make it into the bowl. One of these days I’m gonna lower it a little bit but it’s not a big enough problem to warrant spending time on it.

Overall it’s very effective.

Well I think I’ll try to get a bottle or two of CBS this weekend if I can. One to drink this winter and another to cellar.
Damn it I way over spent my beer budget this month and it’s only the second day in. Or third technically at this hour.

I told myself November I was going to try not to buy any beer. I paid for my CBS tickets last month so I thought I was good, then November 1st Old Nation put out tickets for double dry hopped M-43....there goes that plan.

Yes. The steam will naturally cause condensation on the sides of the bowl and in the fan. Yes have that fan now and have it installed horizontally. The box on the side collects water.

I’m at the local grocery store now. They have many bottles of CBS so I grabbed two based on everyone’s feedback. One to drink this winter and one to age/cellar. Thanks for being a bad influence everyone. Hahaha Just kidding.
