Having a tea while I sit in my office and monitor mash temps over the Inkbird app. Makes it a lot easier than having to constantly get up and check on the temp gauge...enjoy this one way more than the Polder I had primarily because of the probe but this app is pretty nifty.

Joys of home ownership..yard work. Hate nature..can't wait for the day we fully kill it off.

HB hefe. No boil. 3lbs wheat DME, 3lbs Pilsner DME mixed with 3.5gal room temp RO. Boiled hops on the side for 15min then mixed in with sanitized SS strainer. Used free expired White labs Hefe yeast from SoCo Brewing. Probably a top 5 beer I've made this year so far..go figure.

Another half pour of a DIPA from Red Dragon. This one is their “X to the Next (remix)”. Good but I like the other DIPA better.

Have a couple cases of Burbon Barrel Porter at about 6 months conditioning now, thinking about sampling even though still too soon. I also brewed some Extra Special Bitter about a month ago, this I will consume very soon as its tasty when relatively fresh.

Flight at Austin Brothers in up north Michigan. Raspberry Vanilla Porter, Oktoberfest, Blood Orange Peach smoothie IPA, Slamnesia (triple IPA), and Plum Apricot kettle sour. Triple IPA smelled and started solid but on the finish it went pure alcohol burn and I could only drink half.
